How to amend an incorrectly submitted filing
If you submitted a form or payment in error, you must request a void or refund before resubmitting the form and/or payment.
Options for correcting a submitted form:

Void – A void may be processed if your payment was submitted today or within five (5) hours of the original submission.

Refund – If the void window has passed, a refund will be issued once the payment has been fully funded and approved by local government representatives.

Refunds may take up to five (5) business days to be credited back to the original payment method.

How to request a void or refund:
Please email Localgov Customer Service at service@localgov.org and include the following details:

Local government name (where the tax was filed)
-
Reference ID
-
Filing date
-
Doing Business As (DBA)

Reason for correcting your filing
Localgov cannot make adjustments to form details once the form has been submitted. All corrections must be handled through the void or refund process.
